At Savory Words, we publish only a few books each year so that we can give each accepted manuscript specialized attention. Our experts also provide guidance, work closely with you as the author, and make sure that readers savor every word you share. Your story, your words.
Savory Words also handles the nitty-gritty details like editing, designing, obtaining ISBN numbers, formatting, publishing, and shipping. That way, you can focus on what you do best: creating stories. The goal at Savory Words is for you to feel as if each book you write is your story, not something edited beyond recognition.
Savory Words Publishing helps simplify the publishing process by providing guidance every step of the way. If you have a manuscript ready for submission, here’s what you should do first.

Take a look at our packages and decide what you’d like to be done. But first, make sure your manuscript is completed (here’s a great article about that). The manuscript doesn’t have to be perfect; it only needs to be completed. We offer an array of services, all designed to simplify the publishing process for you. If you’re not sure what package you want, we’ll help you figure it out.

Send us an email and we’ll send you further instructions. Once we receive your information and completed manuscript, we’ll chat with you to discuss your goals.
If Savory Words decides to publish your book, the next steps are to finalize the contract and onboarding process. The editing and design phases will then commence.

The manuscript will likely undergo editing (even if it’s already been professionally edited), formatting, and all the other nitty-gritty details involved with publishing a book.
This process isn’t a quick, overnight deal; it takes time, energy, and more time. But at the end of it all, you’ll have a book you’re proud of.
The book will be prepared for both paper and digital formats. But that’s not all. There is also marketing, which you will have primary responsibility for, with support from us. Once everything is done, the book will be released, and you can call yourself a published author!

All submitted manuscripts must first go through the Savory Words editorial review process. Once the manuscript has been accepted, Savory Words works its magic. Although our two most popular packages are listed below, we also offer various options to get your product published.
